tagowls Digital LLP is a creator-commerce platform registered in India, operating at tagowls.com. tagowls connects nano and micro content creators, D2C brands, and normal online shoppers on a single performance-driven marketplace.

2.1 Information You Provide

For Creators: Full name, email address, mobile number, Instagram handle, Instagram follower count, average views, engagement rate, content niche, UPI/bank account details for cashback payouts, and any content (reels, posts) uploaded to the platform.

For Brands: Business name, contact person name, email address, mobile number, business address, GSTIN, product listings, pricing information, and escrow deposit details.

For Normal Users: Name, email address, mobile number, delivery address, and payment details processed via Razorpay.

2.2 Social Media Data (Creators)

When creators connect their Instagram account via OAuth, we access the following data from Instagram's API: public follower count, average post views, engagement rate (likes, comments, saves, shares on public posts), account age, and content niche detected from public captions and hashtags. We do not access, store, or request your Instagram password or any private messages.

2.3 Automatically Collected Information

When you visit tagowls.com, we automatically collect: IP address, browser type and version, device type and operating system, pages visited and time spent, referring URL, and session data. This information is used solely for security, fraud prevention, and internal analytics.

2.4 Cookies and Tracking

We use essential cookies to keep you logged in and ensure platform functionality. We may use analytics cookies to understand how users interact with our platform. You may disable cookies in your browser settings; however, some features may not function correctly.

tagowls calculates a proprietary Creator Score for each registered creator using publicly available Instagram metrics including: audience authenticity percentage, views-to-followers ratio, engagement quality (comments, saves, shares), posting consistency, and detected content niche. This score is used solely to determine cashback eligibility tiers and is not shared with any third party. The algorithm details are confidential and constitute intellectual property of tagowls Digital LLP.

By registering as a creator and connecting your Instagram account, you consent to tagowls accessing and processing the above metrics for Creator Score calculation.

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information. We may share limited information only in the following circumstances:

Razorpay: Payment and transaction data is shared with Razorpay for payment processing. Refer to Razorpay's Privacy Policy at razorpay.com/privacy for details.

Brands: We share only your content niche and Creator Score tier with brands whose products you apply for. We do not share your personal contact details with brands without your explicit consent.

Legal Authorities: We may disclose information if required by law, court order, or government authority under applicable Indian laws.

Business Transfer: In the event of a merger, acquisition, or sale of tagowls Digital LLP, your data may be transferred to the successor entity subject to the same privacy protections.

We implement industry-standard security measures including: SSL/TLS encryption for all data in transit, encrypted storage of sensitive data, access controls limiting data access to authorised personnel only, and secure payment processing via Razorpay. While we take all reasonable precautions, no system is 100% secure. We strongly recommend enabling two-factor authentication on your Instagram account and using a strong unique password for tagowls.

We retain your personal data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we will delete or anonymise your personal data within 30 days, except where retention is required by Indian law (e.g. financial transaction records may be retained for up to 7 years as required under Indian tax laws).

When you log in to tagowls using Instagram OAuth, we access only the data permissions you explicitly grant. We do not access your Instagram direct messages, contacts, or any private content. Authentication is handled directly through Instagram's secure OAuth system. You may revoke tagowls' access to your Instagram account at any time through Instagram's Settings.

We may update this Privacy Policy periodically. Material changes will be communicated via email or a prominent notice on tagowls.com. Your continued use of the platform after updates constitutes acceptance of the revised policy. We encourage you to review this policy regularly.
